POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Systems Manager serves as the organization’s principal architect and strategic owner of the enterprise financial systems ecosystem, with NetSuite as the system of record. You will partner closely with Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to maintain system integrity, streamline processes, and enable accurate reporting and decision making. You will also provide high-level guidance, governance, and technical leadership for the design, optimization, and integration of financial systems across the organization and associated entities.

NetSuite Administration & Optimization
  • Lead NetSuite implementation efforts for Tenax entities not currently on the NetSuite platform, including planning, migration, training, and go-live support.
  • Serve as the primary system administrator for NetSuite, overseeing configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Manage workflows, scripts, dashboards, saved searches, roles/permissions, and integrations.
  • Lead system upgrades, testing, and rollout of new NetSuite features and modules.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across finance and operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Finance teams to support financial close, reporting, audit compliance, and general accounting operations.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and implement system solutions.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, documentation, and training to internal teams.
Data Integrity & Reporting
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy, system security, and internal controls.
  • Develop and manage financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and saved searches to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support external audits, system access reviews, and SOX/internal controls where applicable

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, demonstrating a solid foundation in GAAP and financial operations.
  • 7+ years of hands-on NetSuite experience leading ERP implementations or reconfigurations.
  • administration experience.
  • NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification.
  • Experience with SuiteFlow and SuiteAnalytic.
  • Deep knowledge of NetSuite modules such as Financials, ARM, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Advanced Revenue.
  • Experience creating and maintaining custom workflows, saved searches, custom fields, roles, dashboards, and hybrid, integrated, and native integrations.
  • Experience customizing forms in html; creating, deploying and maintaining JavaScript-based scripting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a remote environment.
Preferred
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Oracle NetSuite Certified Professional.
  • Experience with creating custom records and custom forms
  • Prior experience in SaaS, e‑commerce, or multi-entity organizations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role may provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed but is not required to directly manage employees.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates within a fully remote work environment that emphasizes professionalism, accountability, and effective communication. Employees are expected to maintain a dedicated workspace that supports confidentiality and productivity while adhering to standard business hours unless otherwise approved.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. High frequency of computer keyboarding and viewing a computer monitor.  Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position is a salaried position.  The typical work schedule is a standard 40-hour work week but must be able to work extended hours during peak reporting cycles (quarter‑end and year‑end).

TRAVEL
Up to 20% travel may be required to support organizational projects, stakeholder meetings, and ongoing business operations.
